Founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers, Engineers Week is celebrated annually by thousands of engineers, engineering students, teachers, and leaders in government and business. In 1988, the National Engineers Week consortium expanded its scope and now includes more than 100 engineering, scientific, and educational societies and major corporations dedicated to enhancing the public understanding of the engineering profession and to promoting precollege interest in math, science, and engineering as a career option.

We believe and recognize as a professional industry, that to achieve our Engineers Week objectives, we must include education as a key element. To that end, the 2024 Northeast Florida Engineers Week Committee and the engineering community is planning to award up to $1,000 in scholarships to two deserving high school students who intend to go to college and major in engineering.
The 2024 Northeast Florida Engineers Week Committee is searching our local community for recipients of this prestigious scholarship award. Scholarship recipients will be recognized at Engineers Week Kickoff Luncheon Friday, February 16, 2024.
The application submittal deadline is Friday, February 2, 2024. They may be submitted electronically but must be received by midnight on Friday, February 2, 2024.
